SailormoonS Movie Summary
The movie starts out with a comet coming towards Earth and a ice woman saying how she wants Earth to be part of her collection. She then sends out 5 crystals towards Earth. While this is happening, a guy is watching a comet coming towards Earth from a large telescope. He sees the crystals decend to Earth, and goes outside to see one of them fall into a lake. He drives to the scene and sees the gem upclose and is in complete shock.
The opening begins and introduces the movie with Ami, Rei, Makoto, Minako, Usagi, Luna, Artemis, and Chibi-Usa shopping. The song ends, and shows the girls eating while watching a report about a Lunar project. The news report says that a woman named Himeko Nayotake will be in charge of the mission. Usagi and Chibi-Usa begin eating meatballs while Usagi talks about how it would be lovely if her and Mamoru flew to the Moon. Luna thinks the idea is stupid, and Usagi says she's jealous because Luna has never fallen in love. Luna starts sneezing, and tells the girls that she has a cold. Artemis asks Luna if he can take her home, but she says she's fine, and will go home by herself.
Luna starts off walking home, and begins crossing a street and passes out. She is about to get ran over by a car, but a guy saves her just in time. She passes out and wakes up late that night. She tries to get up, but the guy reassures her she is too weak to move yet. He puts on a cold washcloth on her forhead, cooling down the fever, and she falls asleep. The next morning Luna wakes up, and realises that the guy stayed up the whole night taking care of her. Later that day, the girls begin wondering why Luna is missing. Minako then says maybe she ran away. Rei then starts blaming Usagi for Luna running away, saying that she was making fun of Luna. Usagi defends herself saying that Luna makes fun of her, and it's not her fault. They begin arguing until Artemis tells them to stop and split up to look for Luna.
Luna is seen looking around the apartment, and the man sits down and gives her a tray of food. Just then there is a knock at the door, and the women identifies herself as Himeko and asks for Kakeru. Himeko enters the apartment and looks at Luna and smiles. She then begins talking about the Lunar mission and tells her how much she misses him. Kakeru tells her that he saw a comet, and Himeko says there have been no reports from NASA. Kakeru goes on and says that he's not making any of it up and calls the comet "Princess Snow Kaguya". He goes to his desk and shows Himeko the crystal. She looks at it and tells him it's beautiful. He tells her that once he saw it, it disappeared quickly, and his friends are doubtful of its existence. He asks her if he believes her, and she tells him how he used to believe of a Moon Princess that lived on the moon, and how everyone laughed at him.
Moments later the crystal glows, and sucks some of Kakeru's life energy away. He gets dizzy and pushes Himeko away. He asks her to leave and she runs out of the room still inside the apartment. Luna goes up to him, and he begins guessing her name. After noticing a crescent moon on her forehead he realises her name is Luna, and she meows to confirm it. Kakeru offers Luna some sugar stars and she starts eating some. Seconds later, Himeko runs out of the apartment, and Kakeru and Luna watch her run out. Luna trots outside, and questions her love for Kakeru, and realises she loves him.
The evil ice witch appears in space, and sends her snow dancers to cover Earth into a block of ice. Usagi and Chibi Usa begin to walk around calling out for Luna until it starts snowing. They spin around in the snow and see a snow dancer enter the area. The snow dancer begins freezing people and then the other girls come and see what's up. Ami, Rei, Makoto, and Minako quickly transform and dodge the snow dancers attacks. Later on a guy is seen running from a snow dancer and is immediately frozen. He crashes into the window where Setsuna, Michiru and Haruka were drinking tea and coffee. They run out of the cafe and quickly transform. The snow dancer attacks the three but Sailorpluto knocks it with her time staff. Right afterwards, Sailoruranus uses her "World Shaking" attack at the dancer, and destroys it.
The next scene shows Sailorjupiter using her "Supreme Thunder" attack at another snow dancer. Sailorvenus jumps in and uses her "Crescent Beam" attack at it. They think it's dead but it's not and rises up against the senshi. Sailormercury quickly uses her "Shabon Spray" attack at the dancer wile Sailormars uses her "Fire Soul" attack at it, and the dancer vaporizes away. Usagi and Chibi-Usa begin running away from another snow dancer because it's trying to freeze them. They distract the dancer and run into the building. They transform and Sailormoon and Sailorchibimoon run out giving their speeches. The monster multiplies herself, and makes the two senshi dizzy. Sailorchibimoon tells Sailormoon not to be fooled, and Sailormoon concentrates real hard. She points out who she think is the real dancer, and is wrong. The dancer knocks Sailormoon to the ground and is about to attack them until Tuxedo Kamen enters the scene. They look up and realise that it is Santa Claus and not Tuxedo Kamen. He makes a few words, and takes off the outfit. He reveals that he is Tuxedo Kamen and attacks the snow dancer with his spinner. Sailormoon then uses "Moon Spiral Heart Attack" at the dancer and it melts away. Right afterwards, all the people that were frozen returned to their normal selves.
Back in space the evil ice woman asks the dancers if they found the crystal, they tell her that they haven't and she sends them back out again. She remembers when she tried taking over Earth long ago, and was stopped by a strong pure beam of light. Back in the apartment, the crystal sucks away more life energy from Kakeru as he screams in pain. The girls begin to talk about the snow dancers and what happens till Luna comes running up to them. They run over to Luna and give her hugs while wondering where she was. They ask about her yellow ribbon around her neck, and shakes away the question. Luna starts telling them about the comet Kakeru told her about and Ami says that she has not heard of any comet coming from Earth.
A couple of days later the girls begin talking about Lunas' strange habits and what she's been up to lately. Usagi burns a potato and doesn't blow on it hard enough and it burns her mouth. Everyone laughs and calls her an idiot. Luna goes off and reads a textbook wondering what Kakeru is suffering from. She goes off to the observatory, and tries to get in, but Himeko says she can't because Kakeru is really sick. Usagi and Mamoru are then seen talking to each other, and Usagi tells Mamoru about her problems. Mamoru tells her that she might want her own space, and Usagi takes it the wrong way. She starts crying and tells him that he think she's a nuisance. He tells her that's not what he meant and they kiss and make up. Luna watches them and wishes she was human and is jealous of Usagi and Mamoru.
Later that night Usagi talks about her and Mamoru's love to Luna. Luna asks Usagi what its like to kiss someone and she tells her it's very sweet. after Usagi and Chibi Usa fall asleep, Luna gets up and opens a jar of potpourri and it falls all over her. Luna goes over to the observatory, and sees Kakeru. He tells her she smells pretty and falls asleep. Luna gets up, and kisses his mouth, and goes home in the morning. During the morning, Rei sees Luna all giddy and tells everyone about it. They all agree that Luna is in love, and Artemis gets really sad. He walks off and Minako tells them to be considerate to Artemis. Usagi questions the love, and everyone tells Usagi that Artemis is in love with Luna. Afterwards, everyone starts wishing they had a love, and Usagi brags that she has Mamoru. Everyone gets away from her and starts ignoring her. The next scene shows Haruka, Michiru and Setsuna drinking coffee, and tea at the cafe again. They talk about the enemy and wonders what's going to happen next. The snow dancers are then seen gathering more energy and building up the crystal with the help of the ice woman.
The next morning Luna runs off to see Kakeru and Artemis stops her. Luna runs to the side and leaves him behind. Usagi sees Luna running and follows her. Luna goes inside the apartment, and Usagi realises who Luna is in love with. Himeko enters and tells Kakeru she's leaving. Himeko tells Kakeru she wants to be with him, and Kakeru tells her no. He yells at her for thinking that the Moon is only a rock floating in space. Himeko begins to cry and Kakeru yells at her. She runs out of the room and Kakeru begins to cry. Luna then realises hat Kakeru has loved Himeko the whole time. Luna walks out of the apartment and starts crying and wishes that she was a human and to be at his side. Usagi tells her that it couldn't be, and Luna tells her she didn't care. Usagi looks up as a snow dancer looks into the apartment. The two run up the stairs and see the ice woman taking the crystal. The witch tells Kakeru that the crystal has gained more energy, and Kakeru asks if she and the comet are part of Princess Kaguya. She tells him that it's a beautiful name and say that the comet is in fact heading for Earth. She disappears and Usagi tells Luna that Kakeru should be o.k. now, but Luna tells her that the crystal is linked to Kakeru and won't let him go until it is destroyed.
Artemis then remembers the evil ice witch. He tells them that she tried taking over Earth before but was stopped by "Silver Crystal Power" the power of love and friendship. Usagi and Luna go over to the Space Station and tell Himeko of the dangers of going to space, but she tells them it's nonsense and leaves. Luna tells Usagi that if Kakeru met Princess Kaguya that he would fight the evil and get better again. Luna also tells Usagi that she wishes she could be human to help Kakeru. The crystal begins to grow more, and Earth begins to freeze over. The Outer Senshi appear and introduce themselves. The ice witch sends her snow dancers after them, and Sailorneptune uses her "Deep Submerge" at them. Sailoruranus and Sailorpluto quickly do the same, and use their "World Shaking" and "Dead Scream' attack at the dancers. The crystal begins shining and more dancers appear.
The rest of the senshi arrive, and Sailormars uses her "Burning Mandala" attack at the dancers. Sailormercury uses her "Shine Aqua Allusion" attack, Sailorvenus uses her "Love me Chain" attack, and Sailorjupiter uses her "Sparkling Wide Pressure" attack but it is no use. The evil dancers keep on mutiplying. Luna goes over to the apartment and sees that Kakeru has left. Luna runs out and starts looking for him. The senshi begin to use their attacks again, but the dancers get them and beat them and throw them around. Sailormoon finally appears, and the evil witch shows how the whole Earth is frozen. Meanwhile, Luna sees Kakeru and goes to his side and tries to wake him up.
The evil witch attacks Sailormoon, but she dodges it. She then calls for "Crisis Make Up". She quickly transforms and the monster begins her attack. Super Sailormoon holds up her wand, and uses her "Rainbow Moon Heart Ache" attack while the woman uses her attack. The evil witches' attack overcomes Super Sailormoons' attack, and she flies back. The witch begins to use her final attack, and Super Sailormoon extracts the Ginzuishou. Sailorvenus tells her if she uses it, she will die, Sailoruranus' says that she won't let Super Sailormoon die. Sailormercury remembers what Artemis says, and tells everyone to use "Silver Crystal Power". Everyone surrounds Super Sailormoon, and Sailorchibimoon, and Tuxedo Kamen arrive to help out. Sailorchibimoon helps the other while Tuxedo Kamen distracts the snow dancers. Everyone joins hands and yells "Silver Crystal Power". The monster attacks and so does Sailormoon. The ice witch sees the same bright light and starts screaming. The witch begins to win, but Sailormoon concentrates on all the plants and animals that are so important on this Earth. She asks for their powers and the Ginzuishou goes to full power. The senshi destroy the ice woman, and the comet she came on. Right afterwards Super Sailormoon prays that Luna will become a human for that night.
Luna is seen with Kakeru, and looks up as a light begins shining on her, she quickly transforms into a human. Luna tells Kakeru that she is Princess Kaguya, and flies him to outer space. They look at Earth, and then Kakeru looks at "Princess Kaguya" and finds out it is really Luna. Himeko then sees the morning sunrise, and sees a beam of light whisk around the moon. She believes it's Princess Kaguya and now believes in Kakeru. Luna then tells Kakeru to be with Himeko and she fades away. Kakeru wakes up in the snow, and Sailormoon faints right afterwards.
The next day Himeko arrives at the airport and tells the news reporters that there is a Princess Kaguya on the moon. She sees Kakeru and runs up to him. Up above the two, Luna watches them and drops a bag of sugar stars wrapped in her yellow ribbon. Luna goes up to Artemis and he tells her that he will always be at her side. Luna cries and they nusstle together. Mamoru and Usagi watch them from afar as the two cats stand by one another.
