Sailormoon Season Summary
Usagi was just a normal teenage girl, until she helped a little black cat from little boys who were torturing her. Usagi scared them away and removed a band-aid off the cats head, and saw a little crescent moon upon it's head. Usagi suddenly realised she was late to school and put down the cat, and ran off. She was late and her teacher made her stand outside for the period. Later, the teacher showed Usagi a test score with a big red "30%" written on it. Usagi was really annoyed and began to walk home. She met a guy named Mamoru who called her "Odango Atama" so Usagi walked off. At home, the cat appeared in her room, and gave Usagi a transformation brooch. To her surprise, the cat could talk, and was named Luna. This was meant to be her guardian cat. Usagi then transformed in the pretty suited soldier, Sailormoon. That is how it began. As the series progresses, Usagi is teamed up with her other Sailor friends. They were Sailormars, Sailormercury, Sailorjupiter, and Sailorvenus. Sailorvenus brought with her, her guardian cat, Artemis. They are all good friends and fight the bad guys together. The Sailor senshi are all looking for the mysterious Moon Princess (more info below). There is also the mysterious Tuxedo Kamen, a caped crusader, who helps Sailormoon in times of difficulty.
The enemies of the season is a race called the Dark Kingdom, lead by the evil Queen Beryl. The first part of this series sees Jadeite, and Nephlite, two dark kingdom generals trying to get energy for the return of the Dark Kingdom (more below). The next part of the series is with Zoisite and Kunzite trying to retrieve the seven Nijizuishous (Rainbow Crystals). These crystals come from ordinary people who have one of the seven shadow warriors manifested in them. The seven shadows were high ranking Dark Kingdom generals. Once the nijizuishou is released, the shadow warrior is released. Sailormoon must exorcise these demons to return these shadows to real people. The Nijizuishous come together to reform the Ginzuishou. This also reveals Sailormoon is the Moon Princess. After this, Tuxedo Kamen is captured by the Dark Kingdom, and he is turned to their side. The main story then unfolds.
Long ago, on the moon, was a kingdom, called the Moon Kingdom. It was a peaceful time and all that everybody was nice to each other. All the planets had a representative, and the person who ruled the Solar System was Queen Serenity. She had a daughter named Princess serenity, who was in love with a guy from Earth named Endymion. One day, the Dark Kingdom attacked the Moon, lead by four generals of the Dark Kingdom, and Queen Beryl. The moon was caught by suprise, and almost completely destroyed. Princess serenity, and Endymion were killed in the attack. Queen Serenity saddened by this great loss, used the full power of the Ginzuishou (Silver Crystal) to send the Princess, Prince and the Royal Court to 1000 years into the future. The guardian cats were sent forward as well, to reactivate the Sailor senshi if the Dark Kingdom ever attacked again. Queen Serenity, with her last energy shattered the Ginzuishou into seven Nijizuishous, capturing each and every shadow warrior, and hurrling them into the future. She then peacefully passes away and drops the Moon Wand turning into time capsules, and locks Luna and Artemis inside.
The season continues with Kunzite leaving, and the senshi are ready to attack the Dark Kingdom, who are preparing an attack at the Arctic Zone. Transporting to the Arctic Zone, the senshi begin their search. After awhile of walking Queen Beryl discovers that the senshi are looking for her, she sends the DD Girls (NA Doom and Gloom Girls) to go after the senshi and to destroy them. One by one each senshi is tricked and horribly killed, leaving Sailormoon alone, to fight Queen Beryl. Queen Beryl sends a orb to capture her, and she sends Sailormoon to her fortress where Prince Endymion, and Queen Beryl are at. When Sailormoon gets there, Prince Endymion, kicks, beats, and electracutes Sailormoon for the Ginzuishou, after a last struggle Sailormoon throws her Tiara at him, and then heals him. Queen Beryl gets mad, and throws a crystal at them, then Prince Endymion throws a rose and shatters the crystal. Then he dies from the shards of the crystal. The rose also hits Queen Beryl's heart and she dissappears.
After asking Queen Metallia for more power, she is turned into Queen Metallia, and goes after Princess serenity, Princess serenity shouts "Moon Healing Escalation" while Queen Metallia throws her evil energy at her, they both use their power against one another and it looks like Princess serenity is gonna lose, but she calls for her friends spirits' to help her, and one by one they call for their powers, and Princess serenity yells "Moon Prism Power" and a giant pink globe shoots out, and engulfs Queen Metallica banning her far away and to never come back. Princess serenity died in the process but as a final wish Queen Serenity wishes that all the senshi could return to their normal lives, with no knowledge of the past events. This occurs, and time goes back one year, and the season ends.
