- Biography -

Minako first appeared in episode 33, “The Last Sailor Warrior, Venus Comes!” An imposter dressed as Sailormoon is going around the city of Tokyo saving random people. Usagi and Makoto see the imposter and after she takes off, Usagi calls the other senshi to follow her. Once the senshi get together they overhear a loud cry for help. They find the source and see the imposter tied up hanging from a crane. Luna thinks it’s a trap, but Usagi tells everyone they need to help her anyway. They transform and run out to help the girl, but Kunzite traps them in an energy dome. As they are being captured, Tuxedo Kamen comes out and saves the imposter Sailormoon thinking she is the real Sailormoon. The imposter wakes up and stabs Tuxedo Kamen in the back with a crystal shard. The imposter reveals herself and turns out to be Zoisite. Tuxedo Kamen hides from Zoisite until he is cornered. Zoisite attacks and out of nowhere a mysterious girl yells out “Crescent Beam” and saves Tuxedo Kamen. He runs away and Zoisite returns to Kunzite. Kunzite begins to shrink the dome and right before he crushes the senshi, the mysterious girl reveals herself as Sailorvenus and uses her “Crescent Beam” attack again saving the senshi. Kunzite and Zoisite are about to attack again, but Queen Beryl tells them to leave. Sailorvenus and her cat Artemis then introduce themselves to the senshi and finally the Sailor Team is reunited once again.

Before Sailorvenus joined the Sailor senshi, she disguised herself as a heroine named Sailor-V and spent a lot of her time in England trying to investigate some of the Youmas that were sent there by the Dark Kingdom. She became very popular while there, and had video games, dolls, and various toys made about her for her triumphs. While she was there, she fell in love with a man named Allan. She really loved him, and enjoyed being with him. One day while fighting a Youma, she met a young police woman named Katarina who she instantly befriended. Katarina was like a big sister, and Katarina treated Minako like a little sister. Their bond grew really strong after time and after awhile she introduced Katarina to Allan. During one crime investigation, Minako and Katarina went to a warehouse to capture a crook. Sailor-V went inside and while inside, the crook threw a grenade inside and blew up the building. Katarina thought Sailor-V had died and began crying. Allan showed up and comforted Katarina and told her not to cry because he was there for her. Sailor-V over saw what happened and was instantly crushed because she never noticed Allan’s and Katarina’s feelings grow for one another. She decided to let them think she had died and came back to Japan.

When Minako is not fighting crime, she is always on the hunt for boys and wishes they would fall for her, much like Makoto. In one episode, she accidentally set herself up on a double date. Throughout the episode, she was running back and forth between the two men and in the end got caught by the two for two timing them. Unfortunately they also turned out to be Hawkseye and Tigerseye and captured her dream mirror. The senshi came to her rescue but were heavily injured by the two. Minako got upset from what they did to her and transformed. She began yelling at the two and used her “Crescent Beam Shower” attack on them. The two quickly left, and Super Sailormoon used her “Moon Gorgeous Meditation” on the Lemure that was with them. Minako also uses her free time to strengthen her Volleyball skills. One of her dreams is to go to the Volleyball State Championships. However, between her studies and her role as a senshi, it is hard for her to practice much. Because of this, Minako almost considered leaving the Sailor Team. She quickly changed her mind because she loved her friends too much. Another dream of hers is to become an idol. In another episode, she entered an idol contest. She got to the final rounds and told herself “This proves my ability. I can be an idol anytime I want, but right now I want to be with my friends.”

As Sailorvenus, she is considered the second leader of the Sailor Team. She knew about her past long before the other senshi did and also has been fighting evil longer. Sailorvenus is pretty strong and has some pretty powerful attacks. Her powers have been known to take out enemies without Sailormoon’s final attack. This is especially true when Sailorvenus gets really upset. In the second season, Minako, Usagi, and some little kids are attacked on a school bus. Minako gets out of the bus and discreetly transforms. She runs up to the Cardian and yells at it for what it did. Her power intensifies and upgrades her “Crescent Beam” attack into a shower of beams which heavily wounds the Cardian. Sailorvenus also looks like Sailormoon which was helpful in one episode in SailormoonS. Kaolinite thought she had figured out the true identity of Sailormoon, so she lures in Usagi by capturing Tuxedo Kamen. Kaolinite then reveals Usagi’s identity in front of Sailoruranus and Sailorneptune. Suddenly a girl yells out that she is not Sailormoon, and identifies herself as the real Sailormoon. Kaolinite looks in disbelief but she convinces Kaolinite she is the real one. Sailoruranus and Sailorneptune take off and Kaolinite chases after them. Usagi sees that it’s actually Minako dressed as Sailormoon and Minako fights the Daimon. Minako mistakenly uses an attack Sailormoon doesn’t use called “Hissatsu Love Me Moon Chain.” Usagi then transforms into Sailormoon and defeats the Daimon.

- Transformations / Attacks / Powers -

Venus Power, Make-Up
Minako says this to transform into the powerful Sailorvenus. She was the only senshi to receive her powers from Artemis. Before the senshi had their powers, Minako was disguising herself as Sailor V. She finally revealed her true form when the senshi really needed help.

Crescent Beam
Sailorvenus uses this attack to cut through any target. Bubbles form around two crescent moons as Sailorvenus rises with her index finger. She quickly backs away as the energy from the moons build. She uses the gathered energy as a beam to cut through the target.

Venus Star Power, Make-Up
This is Sailorvenus' second transformation. After a few battles with some really strong Cardians, Luna and Artemis felt it was time to power up the senshi. Sailorvenus' transformation is almost identical, however she poses in front of a Venus symbol in the end.

Crescent Beam Shower
Sailorvenus created this attack after a cardian attacked a schoolbus filled with children. This attack is almost identical to her "Crescent Beam" attack. However in the end, her beam splits up into multiple beams and simultaneously shoot at the enemy.

Venus Love Me Chain
Sailorvenus uses a chain of hearts as a defensive or as an offensive attack. She can use her heart link chain to attack or grab enemies and she can also use her chain as a means of saving herself or others from falling down high places.

Sailor Kick
Sailorvenus used this attack when she was disguised as Sailormoon. She was fooling Kaolinite into believing Usagi wasn't Sailormoon and used Sailormoon's "Sailor Kick" attack against Kaolinite's Daimon. This attack was only used once.

Hissatsu Love Me Moon Chain
Sailorvenus used this attack when she was disguised as Sailormoon. She was fooling Kaolinite into believing Usagi wasn't Sailormoon and used her Love Me Chain to attack the Daimon. Usagi looked in shock because she didn't use that attack. This attack was only used once.

Venus Crystal Power, Make-Up
This is Sailorvenus' third transformation. Her Star Pen was upgraded by Pegasus because her previous form was not strong enough. He gave her this power after she put her trust in him. The transformation sequence ends with her in front of a heart shaped flower wreath.

Venus Love and Beauty Shock
Sailorvenus uses her love energy to create an explosive attack. She puts her hand down as stars surround her henshin symbol. The energy from the stars glistens off her lips and she blows a kiss; forming a golden heart. She pulls her arm back and throws the heart at the target.
