- Biography -
Hotaru is a girl that doesn't have many friends. After a lab accident where she was killed, her father agreed to sell his soul to bring Hotaru back to life. But the monster starts taking over Hotaru too. Hotaru also didn't have many friends, until she met Chibi-Usa. This was because she had healing powers, and she used them in public to help people. Then everyone thought she was a freak, and stayed away from her. Although Chibi-Usa thought her power was absolutely cool, and admired that talent.
Chibi-Usa later on introduced Hotaru to her friends and they become friends with her quickly also. When Chibi-Usa first talked about Hotaru, she didn't mention Hotaru was a girl and she didn't tell Usagi her name. So Usagi presumed that it was a boy, that Chibi-Usa had a crush on. When the two finally met, Usagi was a bit embarassed.
Before Hotaru met Chibi-Usa she had a low self-esteem. If it wasn't for Chibi-Usa she would of let Mistress 9 take over her body completely. When Hotaru was posessed by Mistress 9, Sailoruranus, and Sailorneptune wanted to kill her to save the world, but Sailormoon kept them from hurting her.
Sailorsaturn explained to Sailormoon that in order to destroy Pharoah 90, she would have to use her "Silence Glaive Suprise" attack. However this attack was so powerful it would kill herself in the process. She is the most strongest senshi of them all. Throughout the season Sailormoon said noone had to be sacrificed. Sailormoon got upset, called for the senshi's powers and saved the day, then Hotaru became a little infant.
Like the rest of the Outer Senshi, Hotaru disappeared in the SuperS season. Then she reappeared when Setsuna came and picked her up from her father. When the Outer Senshi were being threatened by enemies, Hotaru's power reamerged, and started her rapid growth getting to Chibi-Usa's age. Anyways Hotaru also granted the Super upgrade to the Outer Senshi. At this point all the outers lived together. In the battle against Nepherenia, Sailorsaturn almost used her "Silence Glaive Suprise" attack to defeat Nepherenia, but Sailorchibimoon stopped her just in time.
After the death of Nepherenia she had again dissapeared, only to reappear again in Sailormoon Sailor Stars. To help out the senshi to destroy Galaxia.

Silence Glaive Suprise
Sailorsaturn can use this attack to destroy any opponent, but it costs Sailorsaturn her life
if she uses it. She raises her Silence Glaive and slams it down causing a huge explosion.
She tried to use this attack to kill Nehelenia, but Chibi-Usa stopped her because she
didn't want her to die.
Silence Wall
This is a defensive power Sailorsaturn uses to protect her and others from being struck
by enemy blasts. She spins her Silence Glaive around and then shouts out "Silence Wall."
The Glaive creates a force field that protects her and people around her.
