Tips on Collecting
1. Do not think you can collect everything. There are dolls, toys, stationary things, clothes, posters, trading cards, video games, manga books, art books, cels and anything you can think of. Think about what you want, don't just go somewhere and buy everything.
2. Learn as much as you can on the items you want to buy. If you go to my "Merchandise Guide" you will find lots of places where to buy all your favorite Sailormoon items.
3. If you want to buy something that you will constantly be playing with, then don't buy a box that is brand new and undamaged, or a toy that is in mint condition. Buy something that is about average, but not bad enough not to play with. It will save you a lot of money if you do so.
4. If you want to buy something that you will never play with, and keep in a safe place for viewing then you want to be picky. Get a toy that has never been removed from box (NRFB) or get a toy that is mint in box (MIB). Although if you get a NRFB toy, then you are getting something that hasn't been played with or secretly damaged before.
Also please remember that you will most likely be paying big bucks. There is no exact price guide because the prices for all these items vary often. Japanese dolls are usually over $20 and Japanese wands and similar items, can go as high as $500-$1000. If you are looking at American made toys, please be reassured that most prices do not go higher than $100. Most Sailormoon toys and stuff are not cheap.
