Tips on Buying

     If a store has anime toys there, give them a call. Many stores do not list all the merchandise they carry. If you give them a call, you can tell them what you’re looking for, and find out what items they carry.

     Join a mailing list of some kind. There are hundreds all over the place, that feature many anime and Sailormoon toys for sale. They are awesome ways to watch for items on sale, and you can also post what you are looking for. If you are lucky enough, someone will respond and sell you the item.

     Go online as much as possible and go to anime stores online. If you can go there, go there also. If you can't get there then give them a call and see if they got a new shipment coming in.

     If you can find a pen pal that lives in Japan, try that also. The best way to do this, is to see if your school does a foreign exchange program with Japan. If they do, then you are in the best luck ever. If not, then just don't give up, they are around.

     Check eBay, Yahoo and other online auction sites a few times a week to see what items have been posted lately. I believe they are the best place to buy Sailormoon goods. Note: If you bid on auctions, determine how much you can spend on that item, and don't go past the amount you have the money for. Don't keep bidding and raising the price of an item, if you cannot pay for it. All it does is give you negative feedback, and hurts other buyers as well. If you are under the age of 18, Do not bid, have a parent or guardian bid for you.

     If you live in or live near a pretty big city, check for a local "Chinatown" district. If you do not have on in your major city, look for Anime shops, and Comic book stores. Also KB Toys and Toys R Us has some American made toys. Check and see if any of the above places have any good stuff. Also, if you don't see them there once, don't think they can't get some. If they don't regularly carry them, ask them to order some things.

     Also there are a few Anime Conventions every year. Go to the dealer rooms, and browse around on what you like and see.
