What is Sailormoon?
Sailormoon is an anime that features mostly 5
teenage girls with super powers. They were given to them by Luna and
Artemis. These girls were formerly from the Moon Kingdom, but now fight evil
on Earth.
Who created Sailormoon?
The animated television series Sailormoon is
produced by Toei Animation Co., Ltd., and is based on the comic series by
Naoko Takeuchi, first published in Japan by Kodansha Ltd.
Who dubs Sailormoon?
English adaptation of the animated series was
created by DIC, Pioneer, and Cloverway Productions.
When did Sailormoon first start airing in Japan?
Sailormoon first started airing in Japan in
1992.
When did Sailormoon first start airing in America?
Sailormoon first started airing in America in
1995.
When will Cartoon Network show new episodes?
Actually, Sailormoon in the U.S. will no
longer be shown because all the U.S. companies have lost their licenses.
How is the version in the US different from the original?
Well if I named every single one, then it would
fill up the whole page so I will break it down. Well the original character
voices are more pleasant to hear. It's more interesting and awesome to watch.
There are more scenes that want you to cry. The Japanese version has a more
teenage audience, while the American version has a little girl audience. See
the picture? I would suggest buying the Japanese videos with the english
subtitles.
Why are there more attacks in the Manga version then the Anime version?
I believe the reason for that is because Toei
animation did not want all the attacks Naoko Takeuchi came up with.
How many episodes of Sailormoon are there?
There are actually 200 episodes of Sailormoon.
They are broken up into 5 seasons. Sailormoon, SailormoonR, SailormoonS,
Sailormoon SuperS, and Sailormoon Sailorstars.
Do the 3 movies run with the series of Sailormoon?
Actually they don't. They are just side stories
to the actual series of Bishoujo senshi Sailormoon.
How many senshi exactly are there?
There are actually 20 senshi. The planet
senshi (9), the Moon senshi (2), and then the Starlights (3), then the
Animates (5) and also Sailorchibichibimoon. - Now Tuxedo Kamen is actually
asenshi because Sailorgalaxia went after his starseed to take over Earth.
That would make him the senshi of Earth.
Why don't people recognize Usagi as Sailormoon?
I have no clue! Doesn't the odango in her hair
give it away? Now some people are reading this and thinking "there are
actually people who think Sailormoon is the one in green?" Well that
question has came about, and no Sailormoon is the one with the Moon
earrings, and the odango in her hair.
Why do I see Japanese letters in the show?
This question has also came up. Sailormoon
isn't an American based television show. It originated in Japan. NOT
AMERICA!!
Was Sailoruranus a prince in the past?
Of course she wasn't! Sailoruranus has always
been a girl! Maybe in Mythology it was a guy, but in this anime/manga,
Sailoruranus/Haruka Tenou has always been a girl!
Who came first, Sailorvenus or Sailormoon?
Suprisingly Sailorvenus was first. If you
remember in the first series while Usagi was the only senshi, she always
played the Sailor-V game, well that game was about Sailor-V from England.
When she appeared with the other senshi her name changed to Sailorvenus.
Also, the comic book Sailor-V was a popular comic that also came before the
Sailormoon comics.
Will Naoko start creating Sailormoon again?
She has made a new series...A live action one
actually, and it ran in Japan from 2003-2004. You
can watch clips from this series from this site.
What do you use to create your site?
Well pretty much everything was created by
Paint Shop Pro, and Adobe Photoshop. All the html you see is either by free
knowledge, or help from others.
Why is the file (insert filename here) not showing up correctly?
Maybe because the internet company you use does
not read the file. Or maybe the link is broken but thats only if a page
comes up and says it's an invalid link. If that happens
please e-mail me!
Can you help make my site or give me a few ideas?
If I did that for you, I would have to do it
for everyone. So the answer would have to be no. I am sorry if this sounds
cold, but I don't have much free time.

I believe the reason for that is because I
have lots of things on my site, and a nice selection of movies and mp3's.
That seems to be the most popular area of my site. I hope the popularity
continues.

Of course you can, but only if you use proper
spelling and grammar! If you see incorrect information or you see anything
related to the american version, unless it is in parenthesis. Then please
just e-mail me!
Also if you are a dubbie, then please be careful about what you report. Most
of the information from the Japanese version is different then the American
version.
